Marketing Background
Since China¡¯s accession to the WTO from September in 2001, it has comprehensively opened the door through her large market. Canceling the certificate of import and export, and Cutting tariff are two aspects of various measure progresses. These measures accelerate effectively the speed of trading and sustained growth of national economy. In 2001-2005, the annual economic growth rate in China is 9.5%, higher 5.7 percentage point than global average level. The total volume of GDP has surpassed Italy, France and America, jumping to the 4th in the world.
Timber and wood products are the one of the important industries of Chinese economic sustained growth. In 2001-2005, the total output of timber industry in China is 2316 billion, increasing by 19.3 %. The main products like wooden furniture, plywood and fiberboard had an average increase of 21 % in the past five years. The export trade of wood products continued prosperity. In 2005, the total trade value of import and export, including logs, and sawn timber, wood based panel, wood furniture, wood flooring and doors etc., no pulp and paper, is 15.75 billion dollars, increasing 27.3% than the one in 2004, especially importing 5.49bn dollars to 9.3%, exporting 10.26bn dollars to 39.5%. Imports of logs, sawn timber and other raw materials, accounting for 88% of import values; exports of wood products, accounting for more than 97%. This indicated that China is the biggest timber importing country recently and the main producer in the world for some products like MDF, plywood and furniture and so on. Chinese enterprises have become the most important one of the timber buyers and wood products suppliers in the earth.
Faced with today's timber, wood products trade in the new trend of globalization, China's timber and wood products business overseas suppliers urgent need to establish more direct and closer cooperation with overseas suppliers and purchasers, while suitable for international companies to establish resources and capital levels of cooperation will become an important component of the company's future development strategy. Procedures
l By the requirement to fill in "Representatives applications", add your company signs with official seals and fax to the contractor. Contractor will confirm and reply in two working days. Please note that the registration deadline is August 30th, 2007.
l After confirming the "Representatives applications", please your company transfers 50% of your costs or all to a designated account of exhibition, and the balance is paid before September 5th, 2007
l In reply within five days after confirmation, contactor will sent ¡®Representatives Guide¡¯ to your company, please fill in the form according to our requirement and send back to contractors before deadline.
